A (hopefully?) much improved second circle skirt

Taking the things I learned from the first circle skirt and making another, much improved one. This one is made of real fabric instead of bedsheets - I went with flannel.
The main design changes, based on things I disliked about the first one after a week of wearing it to work, will be as follows:
- Longer, tighter lining layer because the lining in the first one had the tendency to get bunched up in the front in between my legs.
- Better planned waist band. On the first skirt, I used a thin (perhaps 1/4 inch?) piece of elastic and then realized after trying it on that the skirt was too heavy for such a small band, so added a full inch elastic band to the inside of the skirt in addition to what was already there. The whole construction of the waistband was pretty much an after thought, and while it does the trick I am pretty unhappy with it.
- Better pockets! I only did one pocket on the first skirt, and in all my fiddling with the waist band I accidentally shaved valuable pocket space off of the top of the first pocket. I also constructed the pocket before attaching it to the skirt which was complicated and confusing to attach, to say the least. After some research I've decided that this time I will sew the pocket halves to the front and back panels of the skirt respectively, and then sew around the perimeter of the pocket to close it up as part of closing the side seams of the skirt. Also, there will be pockets on both sides instead of just one pocket. Because, reasons.
Hopefully this one comes out much nicer than the first. While the first was passable, I was acutely aware of all the issues and afterthoughts involved and am hoping that this one creates a much more tidy end product.
